That's why this year, something that we've been trying with every family that we teach and with ourselves is a solid gameplan with tracking
Hugh Nibley has a good little bit about our limits.
[paraphrasing]
"Our boundaries are like dogs; if we turn and flee, they chase us, however if we face them, they run away from us."
"Our boundaries are like dogs; if we turn and flee, they chase us, however if we face them, they run away from us."
This year, my New Year's Gameplans are simple and concise.
1. Become more familiar with the Scriptures
2. Become completely fluent in Spanish
For all of you dieters and exercisers out there, there is hope.
This past week, we have seen a level of success that I haven't previously seen. We switched from having active member lessons most of the time to really focusing back on our investigators. With the new member trust pushing us forward, we have found that the referrals are coming like a dumptruck filled with sand dumping all over us. It is the best thing ever.
We have done a lot of work as of late trying to pump up our members to do their own missionary work. I have probably already written about the levels of missionary work, but we are getting both of our areas to level 3's. It is way exciting.
Anyway, for this new year, I've also made the choice to be completely committed to the cause of our Lord by aligning my will more with his.
I would invite each of you to do the same.
I love y'all and hope that you had a terrific first week of the New Year!!!
Love
